As a nation, we just recently celebrated our independence and freedom. We can all experience more personal freedom as we work to create balance in our work and lives.
In our live session, we talked about the importance of collaboration and establishing best practices. The 4 main steps we discussed that are critical to taking a leadership role in establishing successful systems are:
1. Step Back – Assess and evaluation assumptions. How can you break a process down?
2. Trust the Team – Delegate and consult with a mentor or advisor to identify priorities and assess system effectiveness.
3. Own the Outcome – Work on clear communication techniques and stay focused and committed to results.
4. Power of Practice – Do it! What are the best practices that must be consistently followed? Knowledge and habits of practice will lead to performance and results.
